Still in Previews

Previews are well under way and it's been amazing. Folks have been waiting for us at the stage door... anxious to share how much they loved the show and how special it is to them and their high school memories. Today we had our first return visitor and we're only on performance #6.

One thing I'm so happy to share..... Our creator- Roger Bean- stood on stage for our first invited dress and introduced "His Baby" for the first time to a New York audience. For those of you who have known me through this roller coaster of a journey.... you may probably understand what it must feel like to be Roger- seeing the Wonderettes finally have their time in New York City.

How any one ever gets this opportunity (no matter how talented they are) is still a great mystery to me.

So....In his pre-show speech he told the audience that it was still considered a rehearsal, just in case we had to stop....and that they could not take pictures....but there was nothing stopping him!!! He promptly asked them to pose for the "our first audience" shot.

Keeping the sense of humor alive!!

THE BEST THING... An 11 year old boy at the show today found my "butt- head jokes" to be the funniest thing he's ever heard!

THE WORST... Still getting lost on the way to work...ugggh!
