The Beauty in the midst of The Beast

It was Monday....The day before the "Big Election" and I had an audition (uneventful).
I found myself with four hours to kill. I could either train it back to Queens (45 min. each way) or find something to explore.
So....I went to Central Park.

No matter how many times you've heard that Central Park is beautiful..... no words can describe it...on MANY levels.

From the changing colors on all the trees to the myriad of different languages you hear on the paths....this is an oasis to experience when the City starts becoming cold and dirty.... and it was a cleanse I really needed.

In the past, I've never been someone who did "alone time very well"- I'm starting to embrace it more and more and also figuring out that the stronger I am on my own....the stronger I will be for others
I'm still so grateful for this experience....but I get so overwhelmed with the mystery of what is to come. Something that everyone who chooses the entertainment industry will always have hanging over their heads.

Some of my favorite views were from the quiet beauty of the Park looking out toward the Big City. Without getting too "deep" I think that analogy is what I want to cling to. Spending my life within the beautiful park with a clean clear view of the Big City.
I don't think that analogy is for everyone....I think some want to go through life in the middle of the noise.
whichever you choose....I think it's important to have the clarity to really think about it.

All the leaves are changing colors and so am I.....
My day in the Park was so peaceful and beautiful. It really helped me to remember to savor EVERY moment that comes my way.
I took about four pictures for passing strangers who were strolling the park together and wanted to be in the same shot.
It made me really excited that Steve will be here again soon.
I watched a bunch of 6 year olds play ball and I missed my nieces and nephews.... but at the same time feel so thankful to have such amazing family support for this whole chapter of my life.

My "view FROM the park " is pretty awesome right now.
Keep tuning in....LOTS to share.

THE BEST THING- Finally appreciating "the changing of the leaves"
THE WORST THING- All my warm boots make me trip and fall exiting the subway....not good.
